It is official: After months of anticipation, debate and protest, Massachusetts on Monday became the first and only state to allow same-sex marriage, an election-year milestone likely to fuel legal and political battles nationwide.
But there is something in this article that certainly caught my eye. A protester asked: "If they're going to allow this, then why not incest?"
Outrageous! Because two people getting married is obviously the same thing as incest.
UPDATE (at 5:18 pm): You have to see the slides at Human Rights Campaign website. On the 50th anniversary of the Brown decision, gays are allowed to marry in Massachusetts. Well, we are making progress I guess.
