'pooh-poohed' in print

i was reading this story about ants being the first non-human animal to exhibit teaching behavior. but what struck me is that the washington post said 'pooh-poohed.'

...No sooner was the paper published, of course, than another educator (this one at Harvard) pooh-poohed it...

i think that is funny.
