thanks to this guy*, i finally figured out, or was told, rather, who played velma in the scooby doo movies. turns out it was the girl that i like so much on ER. and i knew that i knew her when she popped on there from somewhere: freaks and geeks. a show i rarely watched, but i did remember her.
