chesapeake police exams discriminate, too

this is really an update from this post about the virgina beach police exam being charged as discriminatory.

the DOJ now says that chesapeake's is as well.

in an effort to fix the inherent discrimination of the math portion of the officer application exams, chesapeake lowered the standards (70% instead of 80%) required to pass.* virginia beach is considering the same. for some reason, dumber cops doesn't seem like the answer.

* turns out this was not enough. only 57.34 percent of black applicants passed.
