i was talking with a couple of my classes about forced birth control for mothers convicted of drug crimes and child abuse. i was shocked at how overwhelmingly the students were in favor of the idea. even when confronted with the parallels between the state forcing birth control and the state making the decisions over a woman's body [abortion].
the students felt that because these women were criminals, then it was okay.
