how well do you know your neighbors? if you had an emergency, how many people would come to help you? how many people at a time do you 'entertain?' are we a society of strangers? where's the milkman? the friendly 'first name basis' we are on with our mail carriers, grocers, shop clerks, etc.?
is this what technology has done to us?
