new apartment

we are settling in! the place is so huge, we've had to purchase more furniture in order to fill it. so far we've bought:

an area rug for the living room and a purple shag for the kid's room

a console table for the dining room

a desk, small bookshelf, and nightstand for the kid's room

tons of little things, including kitchen rugs, bath mats, storage bins, and a USB wireless adapator.

we still need several rugs, a coffee table, at least two bookcases, and some filing cabinets. i also have two large empty walls that need something, one each in the living room and dining room. and we will need more pictures/artwork since there is so much more wall space than ever before. these types of decorative items have not even been unpacked, let alone hung or displayed. but i see us getting there very soon.

in related news, i cannot get my camera to work, hence i have not posted pictures.
