went to the thing last night to meet all the teachers. it was nice to meet the teachers, especially those teaching her three courses that are for high school credit (in seventh grade) - algebra, biology, and french. the french class is taking a trip to Quebec in April, during spring break. on one hand, i feel that a 12-year old on a week-long trip is a bad idea. on the other hand, i could use this to motivate her to work very hard in her classes. the jury is still out on this one.
in other news, her algebra teacher was a student of mine.
